Climate change is considered the biggest world issue by many people in the west. However, for most people in the world, it ranks below war, poverty and injustice.

We believe that we must tackle the human-level problems before we have the remotest chance of seriously tackling environmental issues.

We believe that it is hypocritical for those in industrialised nations to expect the poorer nations to curtail their development.
