Recycling

Recycling, and environmentalism in general, is one of those issues that divide people.

One thing that is certain is that not everybody is willing to pay for a better environment, and in particular, different countries have different attitudes regarding recycling. It is unfair to characterise everybody who disagrees with environmental measures as "greedy" or wasteful. It's just not true: some people just have different priorities than others.

I would like to reframe the debate on the environment to be one where private individuals can actually do things that make an impact. They can do this primarily by developing processes for themselves that can help, in fields such as recycling and energy generation. Not all of these measures can be cost-neutral, so the idea is to minimise the economic impact of measures such as recycling.
