Corporate Bullshit

A catalogue of corporate bullshit
- Most large companies do things in a particular way because that's the way that they always did it. It's a kind of inductive rationale. However, a lot of the reasons for success are accidental, and we tend to keep these accidents. We keep the bathwater with the baby.
- Meeting-jargon, e.g. "action", "Minutes", "escalate"
- Powerpoint presentations. If something is interesting, then you can usually explain it. Slides should almost always only be used to demonstrate things that need to be shown in diagrams. There are some people who are very good at using powerpoint, but in general, most people use it as a prop rather than a useful aid to the presentation.
