Computer Hints and Tips
From Unfocusgroup.org
- If you use Windows Vista, turn off the stupid Aero desktop, and untick the "show window contents while dragging" option in the display settings. The computer will run a lot faster.
- Move the taskbar over to the right hand side. It's more space-efficient that way, and you can see more of the titles. (You will have to unlock the taskbar in order to move it)
- If you can, use your left hand to operate the mouse. This will allow you to position the keyboard more optimally, reduce hand travel overall and leave the right hand free to operate keys while you mouse.
- Vary your sitting posture and keyboard position frequently to avoid Repetitive Strain Injury.
